Red Date Paste

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Big red dates
  • 350 ml Water

Steps

  1. Boil 4 pieces of red dates in 350 ml plain water for about 30 to 45 mins until the red dates are soften.Purée the peeled red date with a spoon or fork.
  2. Peel off the skin and remove the seed.
  3. Purée the peeled red date with a spoon or fork.

My boy first birthday celebration were in the hospital that he is diagnosed virus infection which makes him diarrhea for days. After doing the blood test that he is seriously iron deficiency, this had weaken his immune system as well.

It is being believed that red dates can helps in blood cells producing. Red dates are popular ingredients used to boil soup in Chinese culture. Red dates purée tasted in sweet with light sour if you get the big and nice one. You can even apply it to bread as a jam spread.

Try to get bigger size of red dates instead of small one because bigger size will have more flesh.
