Pan fried salmon with apple lemon sauce

salmon

I constantly read how Celine Tan uses fruits in her cooking, and thn yesterday I did this; Pan fried salmon with apple lemon sauce.
I was pan fried-ing the salmon fillet when I saw a green apple sitting on my kitchen top. It was left by my mom the nite b4, haven keep to the fridge. Immediately I tot of you, Celine, thn I tot why not..? I did not plan for any gravy for the fish actly and I can say the result is truly appetizing, it mixed well with the fish! And I’ve got kastam officer readily waiting to tax me cooking duty *~*||
Some steps to cook:
1) Pan fried the fish with cover lid. I did turned the fish to cook on both side.
2) Peel the green apple and cut into pieces. I’m using one apple only, may add more if want stronger taste.
3) Blend the apple with about 80ml water, add in 1-2tsp lemon juice, adjust according to your preference.
4) When fish are done, take out and put aside. In the same pan, pour the apple lemon juice and let it simmer until thicken. Stir to mix well with the oil left from salmon.
5) Pour the gravy to the fish and sprinkle with black pepper and dry herbs.
6) Amazing meal!

Thank you Celine! Salute you can post everyday, not easy to type out all the words/menu.

p.s. Can opt to replace green apple with other types of fruits, tangy fruits suits best as salmon itself is oily, tangy flavor will add bonus to the fish. E.g. oranges, grape fruit, raspberry etc…
