Steamed Cupcakes

1 1/2 cup flour
1 1/2 cup self raising flour
3/4 castor sugar (if lesser also okay)
3 eggs
2 cups fresh milk or formula
Vanilla essence

1. Beat egg + sugar + vanilla essence
2. Sift together both flour and beat into egg mixture
3. Add milk by 1/4 cup increment
4. Place cupcake liners into bowl (so that the cake won’t expand horizontally but rise up perfectly)
5. Pour cake mixture into cupcake liners
6. Steam for 10 – 15 minutes or until cake is firm to the touch

*For polka dots design, separate small amount of cake mixture into desired portions and add in food coloring. You can draw any design you want. Use toothpick for finer details as the cake mixture is quite runny

*For extra taste, you can add in kaya or jam into the cake mixture:
1. Pour in half of cake mixture into the cupcake liner
2. Drop a small amount of jam into the cake mixture
3. Pour in remaining cake mixture to cover it
