Bega Cheese Slice + Chia Seeds Steamed cupcake


(Adapted from Jennifer Lee’s Non-Baked Japanese Steamed cupcake)

Below are the ingredients i modified based on what i have from my kitchen :)


1/2 cup Self-raising flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 egg (large size)

2 tbsp formula milk

1 tbsp brown sugar

1 tbsp vegetable oil

1 tbsp Chia Seed

1 slice of Bega cheese (cup into small cube)


1. Heat up steamer with high heat, standby for use.

2. Sieve flour and baking powder, standby for use.

3. Beat the whole egg with brown sugar. Add in milk, vegetable oil, and bega cheese.

4. Add the sieved flour & baking powder into the egg mixtures. Mix well till combine. At last mix the chia seed in till even.

5. Transfer to cupcake mold, medium size. High heat steam for 10min.

P/S: Put a layer of cling wrap/ kitchen towel to prevent the condensate from dropping onto the cupcake.
