Lemongrass sesame foil wrapped baked chicken

Ingredients

Chicken marinade

  • 2 chicken whole leg
  • 1 stalk lemongrass
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seed
  • 1 tablespoon homemade chicken stock powder
  • 2.5 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • pinch of salt

Steps

  1. image Puree or blend all ingredients.
  2. image Rub the puree onto the chicken leg and massage. Put in the fridge for overnight.
  3. image Heat some oil on the pan and grill the chicken till the skin become golden brown, about 3 mins at each side. Place the chicken leg onto a piece of aluminium foil.
  4. image Cover it with another piece of aluminium foil then fold all edges and ensure that it was wrapped tightly.
  5. Bake at 220 degrees C for about 45 mins.
