Steamed Brown Sugar Sponge Cake

Steamed Brown Sugar Sponge Cake (Ma Lai Go 马来糕)

Ingredient :
1 Egg
80g Brown Sugar
6g Baking Powder
110g Cake Flour (I use all purpose flour)
15ml Olive Oil
50ml Milk

1. In a mixing bowl, beat the egg and sugar with a mixer until the sugar dissolves.
2 & 3. Add evaporated milk and oil to the egg mixture and mix well.
4 & 5. Sift the flour, baking powder and beat until fluffy for around 5 minutes.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and wait for 1 hour.
7. After 1 hour, put the pan over medium heat for 25 minutes.
